The part most salons skip
Crystal walks through these starting at 19:08 of the video. They're the costs nobody warns clients about until they're already sitting in the chair.
Plan on coming in every 6 to 8 weeks for maintenance. Maintenance is generally about the same as your install cost — so subtract the cost of the hair from your original install, and that's roughly what you'll pay every 2-3 months.
If you decide to take your extensions out, removal is $95 per hour. Most methods come out in about an hour. Keratin bonds can take a bit longer because they require more careful work.
We can color-match seamlessly to most clients without an additional fee. Some cases require a custom toner or color service on either your hair or the extension hair — when that happens it's billed as a normal color service.
Extensions need salon-grade shampoo, conditioner, and heat protectant — drugstore products will shorten the life of your hair. Every install includes a free Hottie Hair wet brush and comb. Clip-in and DIY purchases also include a silk storage bag.

The lifespan depends on the method: Tape-ins last 6-8 weeks between maintenance, K-tips and I-tips last 3-4 months, Hand-tied and Beaded wefts last 6-8 weeks between appointments, and Clip-ins can last 6-12 months with proper care. With proper maintenance, most extensions can be reused multiple times.
