What Is Beaded Weft Extensions?

Beaded weft extensions attach machine-sewn wefts of hair to a track of silicone-lined beads — a secure, damage-free row method with no heat or glue.

Beaded weft extensions use the same row concept as hand-tied wefts: a track of small silicone-lined beads is placed across the head and a weft of hair is sewn onto it. The difference is the weft itself — beaded weft installs typically use machine-sewn wefts, which are slightly thicker than hand-tied but more durable and often more affordable.

Nothing about the attachment involves heat, adhesive, or chemicals, and the silicone lining inside each bead cushions your natural hair. Rows are moved up every 6–8 weeks as hair grows, and the wefts are reusable across move-ups.

Beaded wefts are a great fit for medium-to-thick hair that wants serious volume and length with a low-chemical, low-damage attachment.
