What Is Babylights?
Babylights are ultra-fine, closely spaced highlights that mimic the delicate natural lightness of children's hair — subtle, dimensional brightness.
Babylights are highlights taken in extremely fine, closely spaced sections — much thinner than a traditional foil weave. The name comes from the effect they imitate: the soft, irregular, sun-lit strands of a child's hair, which no chunky highlight can replicate.
Because each section is so fine, babylights read as an overall glow rather than visible streaks. They are often concentrated around the hairline and part where the sun would naturally hit, and they pair beautifully over balayage to brighten the money pieces while keeping the grow-out soft.
